The Regional Consortium for Research in Generational Economy (CREG) is pleased to announce the official launch of its website, bsdd-creg.org, a platform for information, analysis, training, and advocacy fully dedicated to Demographic Dividend-Sensitive Budgeting (BSDD).
This innovative platform is intended for a wide range of stakeholders engaged in budget planning, governance, research, and civic participation, including governments, parliamentarians, researchers, NGOs, media, and technical partners.
Drawing on advances in Big Data, the website aims to foster the emergence of a
true Community of Practice, bringing together decision-makers, experts, civil society actors, and institutions around tools, resources, and analyses to strengthen the effectiveness of public policies in Africa.
The site offers structured access to key resources: a comprehensive BSDD methodology, country-specific data and analyses, a knowledge-sharing space (blogs, news, reports), as well as digital tools — including the Demographic Dividend Monitoring Index (DDMI) — to support planning and budget monitoring.
CREG invites all stakeholders to explore the platform, engage with its content, and contribute actively to this dynamic, with the goal of optimizing public budgets and promoting inclusive and sustainable development across the region.
