The CREG center in its mission of supporting governments of the 23 countries that are in its coverage area, helps to build and analyze the demoeconomic profiles of the demographic dividend.

Technical capacities strengthening is therefore essential in this dynamic. In fact, experts in the various departments within ministries, particularly economists, demographers, planners, statisticians, employment, education and health experts, as well as journalists have an important role in achieving results.

Responding to this need expressed by West and Central Africa countries, the CREG organizes technical workshops on DD measurement methods, in particular the NTA methodology for national experts from West Africa and Central Africa countries.

The general objective of the workshop is to provide research participants from countries with information and tools enabling them to take ownership of the calculation of the demographic dividend by the NTA method.
